Breaking News: WAEC Releases results, withheld 215,149 results, about 65.24% obtained credits and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

The west African Examination council (WAEC) has officially released the 2020 examinations results held across the country in a tweet officially obtained by @IYKEMAN.

The west African examination body through its head of the national office, Patrick Areghan made this known on Monday in Lagos. He said that a total of 1,549,740 candidates registered for the examination from 19,129 secondary schools in the country, about 1,538,445 candidates sat for the examination.

He said out of the 1,538,445 candidates that sat for the examination, 1,338,348 candidates representing 86.99%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five (5) subjects. Areghan noted 1,0003,668 candidates, representing 65.24%, obtained credits and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
