In the latest Ring Magazine ranking, Anthony Joshua has secured a No.1 ranking position just behind Tyson Fury who’s still The Ring Magazine undisputed champion.
Following his victory over Kubrat Pulev, his mandatory challenger, British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has moved to number one position in the latest Ring Magazine Heavyweight Ranking.
AJ stopped Mr. Pulev in round 9 at the 02 Arena in London on December 12 to defend his WBA, WBO and IBF titles.
This has invariably set up an all British bout which Joshua already hinted could happen as early as June next year.
AJ also warned Tyson Fury of his bad intentions when they eventually meet in the ring next year. “I want to take his head off his shoulders when that fight happens,” Joshua said on Tuesday.
Tyson Fury on his own part is also talking tough calling the supposed fight a child’s play and adding that the 31-year-old has no place to hide now.
The Gypsy King also said that he will make it quick by beating his countryman in the second to the third round of the fight so they can all go back home on time.
